A Trip to the Museum
I've been slow to post updates here again, but the weekend before last we took James to his first museum. We selected the National Museum of African Art because it's out-of-the-way and usually uncrowded, it's small enough that a thorough outing can still be fairly short, and they just acquired and put on (partial) display the Walt Disney-Tishman Collection, an unusually large and diverse collection that we'd been meaning to see.
We needn't have worried. Aside from a hungry spell at the beginning, he was an absolute angel, happily acquiescing to being toted around in the Baby Bjorn as we saw the whole exhibit in detail. This bodes well for future outings.
