Mom songs
This whole parenting gig involves a lot more singing than I would have thought. Yesterday, when we dropped Mimi off at the airport, we hit the potty. After James finished in the stall, I hoisted him up to the sink so he could wash his hands.
James and I have developed a little song to keep him occupied during the hand-washing process. It goes:
Wash, wash, wash, wash, WASH!
Wash, wash, wash, wash, WASH!
Let's make lots of BUBBles!
Wash, wash, wash!
Anyway, I sang this to him without realizing that we'd attracted quite an audience. One flight attendant, dragging her rollerboard, said, "Oh, I'm going to enjoy washing my hands so much more now that I can sing the bubble song while I'm doing it!"
So now I feel conspicuous, but at least I've furthered the cause of personal hygiene.

the other day i had a woman in absolute fits in the stall next to me when natania asked if she could wipe my tushie when i was done.
