Thomas has learned the word "no." He has also learned to shout the word "Monkey!" (from the Gentle Tiger story, in which the eponymous tiger learns not to snatch like a monkey) whenever things are snatched from him, whenever he decides to snatch something from someone else, or when he needs to refer to an object so snatched.

James has become a little too obsessed with "Auto-Tune the News," as evidenced by tonight's dinner conversation:

Dave: [talking about something]

James: [starts drumming on the table with chopsticks]

Dave: James, what are you doing?

James: I'm laying down a beat, for you! Keep going.
