Feet!
James just returned from his first big trip--a road trip to Atlanta and back. The weekend before last, in time for Easter, we all drove down to Atlanta (home of the Ridley grandparents and various other relatives) via Louisburg, NC (home of the Sturgeses--Augusta's aunt, uncle and cousins). I flew back home for the week--the wheels of justice stop for no one--then returned this past Friday to drive Augusta and James back home the way we all came.
James, true to form, seemed to really like road tripping. He was very well-behaved in the car (where by "well-behaved" I must admit that I mean "mostly unconscious"--although I think he also enjoyed watching the scenery go by). But he took the trip in stride, only having a bit of an evening freak-out after a long day on the road.
That didn't stop him from developing a new trick, though--discovering his feet! He spent a while this weekend trying to grab them:

He managed to get them a few times, but I didn't manage to catch it on camera because very time he did so, he'd kick enthusiastically and send them out of his reach:

Poor guy.
