The downside of language

James has moved from the infants' classroom at his daycare into the Toddler Ones room. We love the new teachers (although we really, really miss the wonderful folks in the Infant Room), and the new environment will be a lot of fun for James once he gets used to it. The transition is hard, though. As we got off the elevator at school today, James realized we were going into the main entrance rather than into the separate Infant Room entrance. He cried and cried: "Mamama! No! No!" I think my heart broke.
