Sad news

We'll post about our vacation later, but first have some sad news.  My grandmother, Augusta Morgan Horsey Collins, whom we all called Guggie, died fairly unexpectedly on March 15.  

This is a rather fabulous picture of her in (I think) her late twenties, which she would have liked for you to see:

We feel very lucky that James got to meet her several times.  She was an awesome lady.  What am I saying?  She was an elemental force of nature.

Despite certain appearances to the contrary...

James and Guggie were very fond of each other:
