Beater and Biter

Until the past week or so James has always won any physical fight with Thomas. The usual pattern would be: Thomas grabs toy. James backhands him! Weeping and wailing ensues, followed by flouncing.

Now Thomas has canine teeth and has figured out what to do with them. For the first time, they are equally matched in a scuffle: James still has brute force on his side, but Thomas is swift, fearless and sharp-toothed. I hope their new capacity for mutually assured destruction will lead to peace, but we shall see.
