Thomas just said "Mama"!

James has heard me say "Not now, but soon" about a thousand times and from it has concluded that "soon" means "not now." Example: "James, you look tired. Are you tired?" "NO! Tired SOON!" Occasionally he'll add "Two minutes!" to a SOON announcement. Our other favorite is, "James, are you heading for a time-out?" "NO! Time-out SOON! Two minutes."

James's other big thing these days is announcing things that Thomas is too little for. These include: "Thomas has Nutella? No. TOO YITTLE!" "Thomas mowing the yard? NO. TOO YITTLE!"
