Longtime readers of this blog will recall that James used to have the hobby of defeating childproof locks by poring over the latching mechanisms to see how they might be overcome.
Thomas has taken to removing the childproof locks from our cabinet doors by the simple expedient of removing the doorknobs to which they are attached.
