Growly James
We don't have footage of this yet, but in the past couple of weeks James has set aside his opposition to walking and is now promenading all over the place (though he does prefer to hold my hand most of the time).
Yesterday we went to the plant store together, and he tromped all around it with me. When we got to the checkout area, though, he decided to go on strike. He plunked down on the cement floor and refused to budge. Instead, he started growling (he has a terrific growl) at all the passersby.
We then had the following exchange:
James: Grorwrwrwrwrwrwrrr!
Me (placing plant selections on counter): Jamie, get up and come over here, please.
James: [raises eyebrows; growls again]
Me: Yeah, I know. But I need you to come here, because you're in the middle of the floor and you're blocking traffic. And you're growling at people's ankles, and it's going to make them nervous.
James: [throws head back to the heavens and roars again] GROAHAHRWRWRWRWRRRR!
